Well the Turkey day race is now in the books.  Your Blue Hogs Representatives were Bryan Frodge and Bill Conrad.  The Nordic Gods salute your sacrifice on the National Day of Thanks.

11/13/05

Well here it is, Bryan Frodge again has shown us all up.  He has completed the Ribs Run, only one of us to make it, and on top of that got his race number signed by the great Marvin Lewis, (I'm still pissed about that).  Anyway when you see him give him the Salute of the Gods.

10/28/05

Alright another one down.  Man the Run Like Hell is going to have to be an annual event when I am off cause it was fun as Hell.  Good work to those who were able to make it.  Brian Frodge and Wife, Mike Dehner and Wife, Marty Franks and Wife, and of course Bill Conrad (Wife does not like me enough to run 5ks).

10/9/5

Well Tyler's run is done.  Congrats to those who completed the course.  Wes Cook, Jim Donaldson, Bryan Frodge and Teal Nally.  Rock on gentlemen.

10/4/05

Well if you are like me and forgot about the Little Miami Triathlon, even though it was posted, the you do not get to celebrate.  Bryan Frodge however manned up and did it.  Congratulate him when you see him.

9/28/05

Alright plans are being made for Tyler's Run.  It is a duathlon running a 5k, then biking 18 (I think), and then a second 5k.  The travel arrangements are in the works and details will be posted by Monday.  So anyone wanting to get together and car pool drop me a line and if we have enough people we can arrange it.

9/26/05

Ok, it is better late than never as I always say.  First lets welcome Jim White from Independence to the group.  Jim enters the group by completing the Air Force Marathon.  Not to brag on the guy but his time as listed was a whopping 3 hours 35 minutes and 52 seconds.  I realize I do not work for ESPN but damn that is nice.

9/11/05

I realize that the year is not over yet but we need to start thinking about January 1 and the damage we all plan to do to our bodies.  Everything seems to be running smooth so far, but if you are listed on the web page it would be nice to have an email to associate with your name.  If you have one or would like to use your dept. issued one please just drop me a line so I can put you in my address book.  Thanks gang, more to come.

9/2/5

Well the Independence Foot Pursuit is in the books. What a turnout we had.  Thanks to all who attended.  Jess Hamblin, Rick Williams, Jim Donaldson, Bill Conrad, Jennifer Rudolph, Wes Cook, Bill Mauer, Brian Frodge, Teal Nally and Mike Dehner, THE GODS SALUTE YOU.

7/17/05

And down goes the East Fork Lake Triathlon.  What a great time it was.  The sprint course of .5 mile swim, 12 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run was completed by Bill Conrad and Brian Frodge. The International course of .75 mile swim, 22 mile bike and 6.8 mile run was completed by Jim Donaldson.  To all of those who participated Rock on, the Gods have smiled on you.

5/28/5

Well for those of us again who showed up...Congrats!  Big Hiney Hill falls.  For some of us that was the first time for the quad killer and for others we just keep going back for more.  This was the first time for the triathlon.  I can honestly say that I learned how to swim one week prior to the event and as devastating as it was, it still was completed.  Congrats to Jim Donaldson and Jess Hamblin.  This is what it is all about.

5/1/5

Well Congrats to all those who ran in the Flying Pig this year.  I of course wussed out and did not make it. To those of you who did I salute you.  Jim Donaldson, Wes Cook, Jim Coots and Dave Coots.  Rock on Fellas.

4/3/05

Well it is finally done.  The first race of the year was completed today by our members with the completion of the Heart Mini Marathon.  The race was 9.5 mils long. Jim Donaldson Completed the race in 1 hour and 21 minutes, Jess Hamblin in 1 hour and 31 minutes and Bill Conrad rounded us out at 1 hour and 41 minutes.

Ok shirts are ready to go.  First off we need to sell 48 of them to keep the price at $20, so the first 48 or so will go on the first order. The shirt is a blue cool max and will have Blue Hogs Racing on the front.  Don't forget to get a dept patch to put on the sleeve.  Also I must have the cash in hand before you will go on the order list.

2/6/05

Shirts are still being looked at.  We are almost set so make sure to get a patch from your department to put on the sleeve.   Prices and sizes will be released as soon as we have them.

Welcome to Blue Hogs Racing.  As you can see we are just getting started after a year of sitting around getting fat.  If you have any suggestions for the site please email them to me.  Thanks and good luck everyone.
